Privacy Policy

1. Controller

Imagine Parts is run by an individual, who is responsible for your personal data. Contact: [email protected].

2. What we collect

  • Account: email address, display name, password (stored only as a secure hash).
  • Sessions and security: sign-in times, browser description and IP address, used to keep you signed in and to block repeated failed sign-ins.
  • Your projects: prompts, measurements, photos, sketches, uploaded 3D files, printer profiles and the models, images and logs generated for you.
  • Credits and payments: credit balance and history, and for each purchase the pack, amount, currency and Stripe payment references. We never see your card details.

3. Why, and on what legal basis

  • To provide the service you signed up for (performance of a contract).
  • To keep payment records required by tax and accounting law (legal obligation).
  • To protect the service against abuse and fix problems (legitimate interest).

We do not sell your data, show ads, or use tracking or analytics cookies. We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in.

4. Who processes it for us

  • Contabo GmbH hosts the server and its data.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. delivers and protects the website and sees your IP address and requests. It also sends our account emails (address confirmation and password reset).
  • OpenRouter, Inc. (USA) receives your prompts, measurements and reference images when you generate a model and passes them to the AI model provider used for that generation (for example OpenAI, Google, Anthropic or xAI).
  • Stripe sells credit packs as merchant of record and receives your email address, billing country and payment details. Stripe uses this data under its own privacy policy, for example to meet its tax and fraud-prevention obligations.

Some of these providers process data outside the EU. Those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your projects, files, prompts, printers and sessions are erased immediately, and your email address and name are removed. Copies in backups are deleted within 30 days. Purchase and credit records are kept, without your name or email, for as long as tax law requires (up to 10 years). Server logs are rotated automatically and kept only briefly.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent. Settings lets you download all your data and delete your account yourself; for anything else, email [email protected]. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
